Order an ARK Survival Evolved Server today with Ascend Servers
This guide will show you how to switch from The Island map to The Center map.
NOTE: Before you do any of these changes, you should Stop your server.
You will also need to make sure that your server is up to date so that The Center has downloaded to your server.
Switching to The Center
You'll want to start by navigating to the "Commandline Manager" in your control panel.
The "Default ARK" command line is the one you should use if your server does not have mods.
Once the "Default ARK" command line has been selected, you'll want to change "Server Map" to "The Center Map".
Once you have selected "The Center Map", Click "Apply" to save your configuration.
However, if you do have mods installed, you should use the "Ark With Custom Map" command line.
If you're running a total conversion mod you'll want to go with the "ARK with Total Conversion" command line.
After choosing the "Ark with Custom Map" command line change "Server Map" to "The Center Map".
After you've added "The Center Map", press "Apply" to save your settings.
That's it! Your server should now be running The Center instead of The Island the next time you start it!
