This article will inform you about how to update your server.
it will also inform you about the incompatible version error Valheim Game Server. This occurs when the server is out of date and needs to be updated.
How to fix the incompatible version error
All you need to do to resolve this issue is by firstly accessing the game panel and viewing your server.
Once there click/tap on the "Steam Update" icon
The script will then run and update your server to the latest version of the game.
Make sure the status says (Process Complete)
You will then be able to join your server!

Notice: Every time you run the steam update, a backup will be made, it's known that the last update (10/02/2021) of Valheim may cause world corruption.
This backup is stored in a folder called backups/ with a timestamp.
