Adjusting Backpack Size on Your Hytale Server

1. Grant the correct player permissions to modify backpack size. Click here to learn how.

Permissions:

hytale.system.command.inventory and hytale.system.command.inventory.backpack

NOTE: Use LuckPerms to assign players temporary permissions. Learn how to install LuckPerms in this guide.

2. Join the server with backpack permissions enabled to adjust capacity.

3. In the in‑game console, enter the command with your chosen backpack size:

/inventory backpack --size=<#>

Replace <#> with the number of slots you want to assign.

NOTE: Backpack sizes above 54 slots will exceed the default HUD layout.
