Starting fresh with a new world in Hytale is one of the most exciting parts of running a server. Whether you’re looking to launch a brand‑new adventure, experiment with different biomes, or simply reset the environment for your community, creating a new world gives you full control over the experience. As a server admin, you can decide the look, feel, and rules of the world, making it as challenging, creative, or immersive as you want. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to set up a new world on your Hytale server, ensuring everything is configured smoothly so you and your players can jump right into the fun.
Creating a New World in Hytale Server
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
2. Navigate to the Web-Console Tab.
3. In the Web Console tab, run the following command:
/world add <name>
You can also use the following world command settings in the Web Console:
/world add <name> |
Generates a new world. |
/world list |
Lists the loaded worlds. |
/world setdefault <name> |
Sets a world to default for new players. |
/world load <name> |
Loads a world to run on the server. |
/world remove <name> |
Removes the desired world. |
/world prune --confirm |
Removes all loaded worlds with no online players. |
After running the command, the server will automatically generate the new world and set it as active.
4. Once the command has been executed and the server has finished creating the world, you can now join the server to make sure everything is working as expected.
