The following guide will help you troubleshoot the crash when loading the mods tab in the ARK Remote tool.

You are running out of RAM if the ARK Remote tool for your local machine crashes when you click the mod tab.

To fix this:

1. Install the Explorer Suite after downloading it.

Link: http://www.ntcore.com/files/ExplorerSuite.exe

2.  Get The CFF Explorer Open. It will be located under "Explorer Suite" on the Start menu.

3. Click on File then Open, and direct the program to your ArkServerLauncher.exe

4. Click on the "+" by "NT Headers" If it hasn't already expanded, then click on "File Header".

Note: Don't be intimidated by the table.

5. Click on the cell under "Meaning" and across from "Characteristics" that says "Click here".

6. Disregard everything but the checkbox that says "App can handle >2gb address space".

7.  To check it, click on it.

8. Click "OK"

9. You can now save and overwrite the file if necessary.

Note:  You should save the file as "ArkServerLauncherHighMem.exe" if it says you cannot overwrite it.

10. You can now restart the ARK Remote application, and it won't crash when the modifications tab loads.

As an alternative, consider:

"Right-click on CFF Explorer" select More and "Run as Administrator"
